"Liminal Spaces, Sky 1, is one of a series of my many years spent in the desert. Monsoons provide an ever-changing landscape of wind, light and precipitation; a perfect inspiration for an abstract painter. "Liminal Spaces" series is an exploration of unknown outcomes as I move into and feel suspended between impressionism and total abstraction. As various shapes and textures emerge, it is always a surprise where the painting takes me."
