"This drawing is one of a series of tree studies I began in 2021 and 2022 shortly after I arrived in Oregon. I love the rugged nature and perseverance of the ancient bristlecones I saw while living in Colorado the year before. Oregon inspires me to study the tallest, oldest, and largest trees. This is just one study of a twisted, old Bristlecone."
