Working at ArtLifting

ArtLifting is a social enterprise championing artists with disabilities or experiencing housing insecurity. As a for-profit, for-purpose company and a public benefit corporation, we believe in the business for good model: 

  • Artists earn 55% of the profit from the sale of their work
  • 1% from each sale goes to a fund which provides art supplies to art groups nationwide
  • ArtLifting uses the remaining 44% to further our mission

Total Rewards Package

ArtLifting offers competitive pay and benefits to team members and is committed to equity, trust, and transparency in our total rewards practices, which include compensation, benefits, and employee wellness policies.

Compensation at ArtLifting consists of base pay, variable pay, and equity via stock options. 

  • ArtLifting has a transparent and competitive compensation policy that enables systematic and equitable decision-making around employee pay. 
  • ArtLifting shares the following information with all employees:

       -Pay ranges for all job levels
       -Benchmark job descriptions for all jobs that we benchmark

ArtLifting benefits package includes:

  • Generous and flexible time off: 4 weeks of paid vacation annually, paid sick time, and 13 paid company holidays each year
  • Paid parental leave for all parents:12 weeks for birth, adoption, and foster care

ArtLifting proudly launched a 4-day (32-hour) work week in 2023 in order to further our commitment to building an equitable, accessible, and productive work environment.
