"I painted this piece while listening to the Mazzy Star song, 'Fade Into You', from 1993. This song washes over me, causing me to sink into an ethereal bright, sun-filled world where gold, blue & shimmering whites slowly drop down from above - as if the paints are forming giant, colored Stalactites which glisten & fuse together before my eyes. I created this piece using my fingers and knuckles. No brushes were used."
