"We’ve had long conversations, this color spell and I. I am taking flight into discovering a new visual language that feels true to me, and I acknowledge every transformative step taken in this dance where in spite of the long dead-end moments in my healing and creative process, progress always speaks to me so I could see deeper what it could become. Sometimes creating feels like a war waged within myself. Yet, other times it blossoms into a celebration, an exploration of possibility to love and accept myself exactly as I am. I deeply appreciate both aspects, as they illuminate each other, in my learning experience. There have been more tear storms than sunny days, unanswered questions, and many “what if” sessions.
