"I like intensity and brilliance of Cadmium Orange. This piece explores depth, and how different shapes and colors interact. It includes all the primary colors except for blue, and some secondary colors. The palette knife is my instrument of choice, and I like to apply thick paint. I didn’t do any preparatory work for this piece, no sketching, just painting directly on the canvas."
