Perched

"I began this painting with no forethought, no intention other than to explore, play with color and shapes, and to see what would come of it. I allowed myself to make something real, or something abstract, or both! I stumbled across some interesting shapes and managed to snag a few totally random objects, including a bird, a tumbler and the letter G. These fun little treasures have no symbolic meaning for me, no unifying theme, nothing deep, just randomness. But maybe that IS the hidden message here--that it's the joy of the creative journey itself that is the treasure. What fun little treasures are perched in YOUR heart?"
