Jump Rope
"This drawing is a self-portrait and depicts me as a child jumping rope just outside my home after lunchtime. I was instructed to stay close to the front door, so my mom could keep an eye on me. The gestural lines represent the swinging of the rope, moving around and around. I love this memory."
