"Inspired by the butterfly, (and very intensive photos from a butterfly farm) you’ll see many chrysalides on the tree limb are starting their metamorphosis into their new life, full of color, brightness and beauty. The birth of the butterfly is a new beginning, full of joy, and flight. Starting again with a new lease on a new life. Very stimulating and encouraging. The technique used here was application of colors, which were then touched with isopropyl alcohol with the pre-textured background peeking through, thus creating the symbolic emergence of new life."
