Celebrating Florida’s Landscape Through Art
In partnership with HOK, ArtLifting curates an artwork rotation program for Tampa International Airport’s SkyCenter, a development designed to welcome travelers and tenants with a vibrant sense of place. The rotation program emphasizes Florida’s natural landscape and cultural identity, introducing artwork that reflects the colors, textures, and energy of the region.
A rotating gallery wall is installed at the main entry corridor, featuring multiple artists whose works capture the brightness and spirit of Florida. The installation brings life to the space and encourages travelers to pause and connect with the stories behind each piece. The rotation program ensures the corridor feels renewed over time and expands the visibility of ArtLifting artists to a wider audience.
This project reflects Tampa International Airport’s commitment to creating environments that are functional and culturally resonant. By integrating artwork from artists with diverse backgrounds and lived experiences, the airport enriches the daily experience of travelers and staff while fostering a connection to the local community and environment.
