"My 'Yellows' series is a collection of hard edge paintings and digital works that uses varying shades of yellow to define and separate geometry, create depth and in some cases, illusion. On those pieces where the yellows are used in gradation, the tightness of the yellow tonal values creates the appearance of a shadow being cast on the adjacent yellow.

In 'Yellows 5', I used tight gradation of the yellows in conjunction with 'bottomless rectangles, giving them a sense of movement into, or out of, the canvas."
