"This piece is part of a grand scale five-year collection called "Despite the Pain" and is about transformation from suffering. "Windy Maginations" is in the second series entitled "Migration" and is in the Terrain subgroup. The 123 pieces are earth swabs taken by moving with the camera in California, Switzerland and France. Each series grows in complexity and mirrors the migration of the Monarch butterfly and my own life."
