"This painting is showing the constant circular and vortex motion that is going on behind the scenes in the microscopic or subtle energy fields. 'Wheels within Wheels' is referenced in Ezekial of the Tanakh or Old Testament. It is probably the most cosmic and enigmatic stories of the whole book. Its a kind of story that people find all manner of references described, anything from UFOs to science. I was studying the bible a lot at this time.

As an artist, I communicate in symbols, most of which are not easily apprehendable; even by me, so this story is like my work "I know it means something, but I can't quite grasp it."
