"After painting the acrylic paint on dry watercolor paper (this was from a larger painting), I started to see some areas that resembled lily ponds. I decided to cut these smaller ponds and work with them individually. I am inspired by Monet's lily ponds. This particular area is a secret pond with lilies that draw you into the woods."
