Wait, Love I

"Memories of challenges blowing in the wind, sometimes so vivid, sometimes so blurry. I want to give up, but the word “wait” comes up, like a message! –Layer by layer, adjustment and joy begin to coexist. I honor every step taken, wobbly or not, for in ease or in effort, they fill my life with growth and color. I lose track of sessions, layers and time. Like water waves, some details have been washed away and yet they shaped my inner landscape. I remember there is resilience in fully going through the process, painting or otherwise. Some things (or most things?) are temporary. Everything is always changing! Hello tiny singer, strong wings and vibrant melody, bravely shaping the heart of my mountains and the forests my eyes can’t see through this small window. I hear the river, the rain polishing each step into grounded rocks... "Wait" is giving myself space to see change through "Love" is accepting myself exactly as I am today. [Pieces of journals written in the painting process]"
