Trembling Waters

"Since the beginning of my artistic career, I've been obsessed with capturing the movements of water, wind, and light. Trembling Waters was inspired an incredible week spent exploring Edisto Island, SC, with family, close friends, and the help of a Waymaker off-road wheelchair. We saw and experienced so many wonderful things, including an untouched natural beach, coastal waterways, and countless encounters with birds, crabs, and other wildlife. I made several paintings about my delight in the coastal creeks and waterways, and the different ways they reflected the flora and fauna, the sky, and the light itself. Trembling Waters shows the creek dancing in a gust of wind."
