"The Tidal Forms series in ink combines the artist's practice of utilizing handmade ink made from natural ingredients sustainably gathered from the Pacific NW, as a way to communicate place within an artwork and a repetitive drawn shape made since childhood. The shape itself can be found scribbled on old school notebooks, sheet music and paper scraps from over the last 35 years."
