"This is the second painting I created outside my sketchbook as I ventured into painting on “official paper” again through my recovery. (I’m hopeful one day I’ll stop counting, but today it still feels like a huge milestone!. It was also the very last art piece I named for the "Adventure Within" series. After reading my journals, I finally understood what it meant to me, and the worthy path it has been to throw my best, which some days is my worst, at going through the process, whatever that looks like on any given day... * In here there is play, there is joy, uncertainty and laughter; there is anger and wander, there is pain and flow too. There is setting camp under a storm for far too long and the deepest breaths of gratefulness, release, and renewal. I’ve called it “Through the Tremble”"
