"Man in the Forest was originally an abstract image that was mostly reds and oranges and needed more. Acrylic inks come in lots of colors and metallics but thought the red would create good lines. My style of drips generally has the rounded shapes on the top and straight lines to the bottom. When I started adding the greens and blues there was a strange thing happening in the shapes. Sometimes when you are experiencing a hesitation in the painting, turning it upside down will change the whole direction. All of a sudden there was a shape of a person dominating the forest."
