The Cyclone at Idora Park

"It’s a flower, but Idora Park was a run down small amusement park near where I’m from in Ohio. It had a rickety terrifying roller coaster, a haunted house and a dance hall. My grandmother used to take me there and she’d have beer and French fries with vinegar. The park had seen better days, was in pretty bad shape by that time. Years late, on the internet, I saw photos of when it had originally opened and it actually was really beautiful and the dance hall was genuinely grand. I’m close with my grandmother, and I think she had some good memories of that place when she was younger."
