The Cliffs 6
"Painting this scene is inspired by a particular rock formation near Abiquiu, New Mexico, and all the colors found in the region. The geology of these crumbling cliffs features brick-red to red siltstone and mudstone, and white to tan sandstone. The layers of these very old exposed rocks inspire me to experiment with a wider palette."
