The Cliffs 1

"This painting is one of a recent series of work to capture cliffs familiar to me. It also feeds my joy of sculpting and challenges me to choose new palettes. This scene was inspired by a set of rock formations in Central Oregon in the late afternoon sun and shadow, and the Crooked River that winds along these cliffs. Bald eagles live there and can be seen flying and hunting there."

- Denali Brooke
