"When listening to the song 'The Adventures of Rain Dance Mary' by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the colors and images began to dance around in my brain with such force I had no choice but to try to translate the energy and emotion onto the canvas. Typically, I don't try to paint a song or song title literally -- but with this one it was great fun to see if I could create a piece which resembles water as it shimmers and falls from the heavens! Painted using only my fingers and knuckles -- on top of and also from underneath the canvas. No brushes or instruments were used."
