Take Me, Fleeting 2
"During a difficult day, while I rested by my window, a little bird swooped in singing really fast in the highest pitch. My hyper-hearing ears heard it even louder and my heart flooded with inexplicable awe. In a few seconds, all the joy of living came to me, along with the vision of a life that was completely out of reach to me at the time. I never felt so alive while in the middle of my most uncertain times. In here there is imagination, calm and play, the impetus it takes to climb giant mountains. There are colorful mornings, as they are in my homeland and also those seasons of transformation often brought by the smallest, most gentle things. There is a spirit saying yes to the opportunities that lie in the unknown, and the human exhaustion and rejoice that comes with hitting those invisible walls that come up when we get closer to the finish line. "Take Me, Fleeting" is one of many instants that continue to give me the hope and the love I need to keep growing. Little ethereal wings and fleeting, powerful moments, helping me thrive through magical eye-blinks that keep recharging me to keep going, moments worth holding on to like treasures, day by day. Today that window is where light and songs come through my studio. Little did I know how 6 years later, it would be where these paintings I could hardly imagine creating would keep evolving."
