Sunken Red

"This was a transition period in my life, I was all alone without my family or familiarity in my day to day life. I was creating something abstract geometry with blues and greens but wasn't feeling those colors in my heart. I ended up painting over the colors with red and black leaving only a few clues that it was a completely different painting before the sunken red took over and left the original painting only on the outer edges as a reminder of my emotions flooding my thought and creative process at the time.

Made on repurposed canvas tarp with acrylic oil and spray paint."
