Summer Meditation

"Abstract expressionism is a powerful medium for positive self expression. Abstract art reminds me of the unpredictable journey of life. I throw the paint and have no idea how it will impact the canvas. It helps me practice releasing control and accepting what is. It helps me practice non attachment and engage in relaxing mindfulness. I see things emerge through the creative process that I could have never planned. Sometimes when I paint, I feel like I am in a beautiful summer garden, where time slows down and I am at one with the nature and beauty of the moment that surrounds me. In these peaceful spaces I feel connection to nature."
