“"Sienna Sunset” was a multi-step piece of art. Done outdoors, it reflects the serenity and beauty of nature. Gentry wet the canvas first, then layers of paint were applied with vertical brushstrokes with her spending time spent in water in between. Starting with bright yellow, then layering rich greens and finally orange, the result is a stunning image the artist titled, “Sienna Sunset”.
