Sacred Geometry Salmon

"Like a Zen garden which uses small objects to play with scale within pristine environments, and in relation to larger objects, this piece creates a stable, yet visually dynamic temple-like representation. To negotiate chronic, physical pain, I've had to meditate extensively, treat my body like my temple, and foster an inner-calm through regular, mental discipline. I therefore wanted to create an image that was not primarily an 'I'/egoic representation, but rather one that is both 'totemic', yet universal, pre-verbal, more like a 'soul-home', offering a disintegration of the ego, yet a sublime, transcendent experience. That being said, I'd love to see a work like this reproduced on a grand scale within a public, architectural setting!"
