Rhapsody in Bloom

"'Rhapsody in Bloom' was another of those sporadic painting times when I wanted to let go. I love working large because it is freeing. With limited vision, you tend to walk and do things with limitations. When I paint large I can free myself from the limitations or restrictions. I find nature, and music inspiring because flowers, trees, and other parts of nature can be small or large but when you have limited vision it
can be restricted. Flower blossoms start small and open up to a beautiful circle of color and song. If you stop to look at a single flower there is so much to see. 'Rhapsody in Bloom' is my music of flowers."
