Red Circle

"Architecture has an organic element within its structure. It has been a lifelong interest to read about great architects and their internal view of their designs. As an artist, my goal with this series was twofold. I wanted to work with the idea of mixed media, movement, texture, and simplicity to define the framework of each painting. Acrylic paints, inks, pastel chalks, gold & silver leaf, and textural tools gave me the opportunity to express my emotions and respect for space. Secondly, large canvases gave me that space. A space to explore, demonstrate and feel the value of these architectural elements in my work. My inspiration is always tied to the Journey we each make in Life. This series has been my latest effort in continuing to define my artistic and personal journey."
