"“Patience " is the very first painting I finished outside of my sketchbook while working with a mentor to help me rebuild my art practice. We had months of conversations filled with doubt through every brush stroke and I was encouraged to slowly and patiently see it through the process, for the instant gratification of a finished result just wasn’t there. Little did I know what I was nurturing within me and how getting to know myself through the eyes of patience would make me love, and dream more... Patience to go through the process the days that don’t flow like we want, Patience to sit in traffic or wait for long lines and deliveries, Patience to learn something new, Patience to choose to do what is required of ourselves each day. Patience to rest and to grow. "Patience" is part of the “Adventure Within” original works on paper series."
