"Therapeutic piece number thirteen is an experiment with handmaking thick paper. I skinned the whole piece with this paper. I first built up the surface with thick cardboard leaving a shallow window in which to lay recycled canvas that already had a sandy textured red color. I had just fallen in love with the color indigo so this is my first time using it in one of my pieces."
