"Water, ink, bubbles and a little bit of gravity tilt—one of my mixed-media experiments with very simple chemistry. I also used glass and a little mirror.

The little inky bubble just lasted seconds, and with these images, it's exciting (and a bit nerve-wracking) to see that something cool is happening and I have to get the focus and shot very quickly before it disappears. I like the images that look like something fantastical and strange—but they're real things I got a photo of."
