"Natural Bridges is a beach/nature reserve area nearby, a gorgeous one. This one is a little different from the others, for me the source photo wasn't itself a great photo. It was more a family photo. But when I looked closely at the colors, the sky, the reflections and refraction of light in an otherwise fairly typical beach photo, I thought there was really something there. I just had to try to find a way to show what I was seeing. And it was all there, I think. I really like the lines in this, not just smooth color gradations, it still feels coherent and has what I saw in the source photo that I thought was something special."
