"This is one of my favorite paintings. It has such an expansive and clear, yet soft feeling to me. Some of my paintings I describe as a 'whisper' They are talking in a very soft, almost imperceptible, voice. Its as if you are asleep and someone is explaining great mysteries to you, then you wake up and can't remember what they said. This painting is that to me. It is representing something, but I don't know what it is. Pearls represent wisdom, value, and purity."
