"A look back to 1970s artwork, 'Mod Blocks' is an example of what you might find. Its colors are indicative to those used not only in art, but also fabric, home accessories, furlongs and appliances.

The piece came about when I was channel-flipping and happened on an episode of 'The Brady Bunch', It was a reminder of the impact that show had on 70s fashion, decor and interior design. Somehow, seeing Alice in that orange kitchen stayed with me long enough to do this painting."
