Lost Vision

"I spent some time living w/my brother and had the opportunity to draw and paint everyday. In the beginning I had small amounts of painting supplies so I decided to combine two mediums, charcoal and acrylic paint. I love working w/charcoal but found it limiting. I discovered that using the heavy watercolor paper I could use both of these mediums to create a process that opened up some interesting combinations. It inspired me to draw expressively w/no specific goals in mind. Drawing in this manner can bring out different shapes and movements. Lastly, looking at the finished image becomes another journey when you realize that you can see something looking at you. This image reminds me of my vision as it breaks down over time."
