"I've never been good at verbalizing my thoughts. I can express myself better through my art."
Robyn dedicated her life to art and creative expression. She was a proud ArtLifting artist for two years until she passed away in August 2016. It was important for Robyn’s family for her art to continue to have an impact on the world.
Robyn’s proceeds will be donated to a fund through ArtLifting that gives a yearly donation to art programs and social service agencies that provide support to ArtLifting’s artists around the country. This is particularly meaningful as Robyn was an active participant at Webster House Gallery in Brookline, Massachusetts through the Gateway Arts program, a social service agency for individuals with disabilities.
Robyn always expressed the importance of art to add meaning into her life as well as to feel content, relaxed, and useful. She was proud to be part of ArtLifting and to share her ever-increasing body of work with a larger audience. She wrote: "Having someone purchase my art to display in their home is the greatest compliment of all."
It is ArtLifting’s honor to continue to allow Robyn’s memory to live on through the celebration and sale of her work.
ArtLifting champions artists impacted by homelessness or disabilities through the celebration and sale of their artwork. Learn more here.
