"Ink Blocks I and II feature artist-made indigo/copper inks, with hints of sumi. The shapes were made using an index card to push the ink; the cards are from the artist's medical appointment notes. Using the cards this way created space, clearing out the old stress and anxiety to be reimagined into ink."
