"This is one of the first new paintings Mia painted since getting vaccinated after the long year of being sheltered-in-place, isolated from people. And it just so happened to be the Spring of 2021! Mia is so full of hope, relief and joy of starting to "see" people in the studio and places. The colors are fresh and joyful with unexpected metallic accent. The painting has confidence in the composition as well as interesting textures. Mia likes both orientation of this painting and feels it'd look both ways and great in a larger scale."
