Brian was a proud member of the ArtLifting community until his passing in mid 2020.
Brian Rush communicated through movement. He was non-verbal, although very expressive through his body. Painting, drawing, and dancing brought him comfort and joy because they were ways for him to connect with others.
Brian is from Chicago, Illinois and resided in Chicago, Illinois until his passing. He attended Esperanza Community Services, where he made his artwork. Brian loved puzzles, his tablet, music, video games and his family.
Because of Brian’s disability, he was unable to work. Selling prints through ArtLifting provided Brian with an income to further his independence and bring him closer to accomplishing his money-management skill goals.
