Golden Triangle
"This hard-edge piece is included in my 'White Line' series of artworks. The white lines are inspired by the works of Frank Stella, particularly his 1980s pieces. The colors are developed on a piece-by-piece basis, from individual color palettes that are dependent on how I envision the outcome.
A favorite triangle piece of mine, 'Golden Triangle' got its inspiration from my own hometown. I live in Pittsburgh where three rivers meet and downtown is referred to as The Golden Triangle. The disrupter in this piece is the red element which I used it to bring more focus to the golden triangle."
