Gold on the Ceiling

"This piece was painted to 'Gold on the Ceiling' by The Black Keys. The first time I heard the song, I saw dancers with gold paint on their hair and faces, wearing flowing gold costumes -- gliding and moving across the stage as if they had no bones in their bodies -- as bursts of blues and purples exploded through the gold along with the guitar riffs. As my fingers moved the paint around on the canvas, I almost felt like I was dancing with my entire body, not just with my hands. Painted using my fingers and knuckles both on top of, and also from underneath the canvas. No brushes or instruments used."
