Go Lightly

"This highly detailed pencil drawing depicts a ground that appears both like a quilt made of miniature patchworks extending ad infinitum, and an aerial view of a rolling landscape of gardens or textures. The feeling it invokes is intentionally soft and quiet, an idealization that is subtle, pleasurable to look at and pretty. I wanted lo depict the invisible sense I have of a universe that comes to my aid, lets me walk softly and is nurturing and giving when I surrender to it."
