Face

"Face involved a lot of movement on the artist’s part as she wove a gauze material into the oval shape of a face. It is an early and rare representational by the abstract artist, Grace Goad. The large canvas that Face was painted upon sat on an easel that was the property of her art mentor at the time. It was never intended to be painted on by Grace. But the artist hijacked it and her mentor willingly sacrificed the canvas to her protege."
