F5

"This is an alcohol ink painting on polypropylene which gives it its radiant and saturated color. This design is enhanced with alcohol ink markers and additional alcohol which lightens areas where it is applied. I usually begin my pieces with a few colors and follow where the application of ink leads. The way the inks interact often tell me what to do next with a painting. When I finished with this one, I realized I had created something that looked like a tornado forming on the prairie, so I named it 'F5'."
