"This piece was created after the passing of a dear friend. Although the house it is based on is in Seattle, it has a New Orleans feel to it which seemed fitting as my friend was a New Orleans native. This feels like a place she would like to inhabit. Bits of the structure are made of decoupaged medical notes. I really tried to play with 3 dimensionality vs. flatness to give the work an ethereal dreamlike look."
