"My inspiration for this painting was found as I was taking photographs in a beautiful field of tulips. The diversity of colors, shapes and sizes was incredible. The field offered a huge rainbow of colour, creating an immersive feeling of joy. I used a variety of brushes, blending colour after colour and highlighted flowers and leaves with touches of metallic golds and silvers. To anchor the contrasting tulips, I asdded a sprinkling of the tulip colors by gently tapping the paintbrush."
