Daily Anxiety

"From the Anxiety and Dreams series, the artist is autistic and struggles with typical images and happenings of daily life becoming obsessions that turn to anxiety. He loves and now is obsessed with the Family Feud Game and Steve Harvey. It seems to be the often randy questions and answers that amuse him, but also due to the cognitive limitations of many on the spectrum, he doesn't always get it fully and then it lingers in the mind and becomes a daily annoyance or, Anxiety. In his dreams, or on the canvas, he can find a feeling of control over the images and stimulation these shows and daily life present to him. He takes the images that cause the stress and couples them with his protective and happy images such as traffic lights, some graffiti, and colorful paint choices. It is both self-therapeutic and stress relieving at the same time. The end result is a picture of the artists mind immortalized on the canvas in vivid colors and images that silently shout out at you, mesmerize you, intrigue you, give you a glimpse into the creator's mind."
