Currents in Pastel 2

"Currents in Pastel 1 & 2 were made with connectivity in mind - and while both stand alone on their own, the pieces can be combined into a singular work. While similar in technique to my pastel landscape work, these two pieces were a response to a need for a feeling of refreshment, or a jolt to the system. I see them both as representative of an electrical current, or even a sound wave. They mimic the blue in Indigo Pathways, and it was my thought to have them grouped when I made them."
